Each piece of ELLE Jewelry is trademarked with our genuine signature ruby logo, symbolizing a woman's strength and inner beauty. The ruby will either be prominently featured as part of the design or may be hidden from view, but you can always rest assured that it is there-that's also how our customers come to know they are wearing a genuine piece of ELLE Jewelry.
Yes, it is a genuine ruby.
All of our sterling silver jewelry is plated with a protective coating of rhodium to resist tarnishing or discoloring. Rhodium is a precious metal and is a member of the platinum family. As an added bonus, it is a much harder substance and protects your piece from scratches more than sterling silver alone, thus extending the life of your jewelry.
Since our jewelry is rhodium plated to resist tarnishing, caring for your piece is easy. Use a soft, nonabrasive cloth to wipe away fingerprints. To remove heavier dirt, wash with warm, soapy water and rinse with clean water.
There is no need to dip the jewelry in a chemical solution; in fact, harsh chemicals can dull the luster of the plated surface. Also avoid using abrasive cream cleaners, like toothpaste, which can leave dulling scratches.
When your jewelry is not being worn, store it in a cloth or bag to protect it from rubbing against harder pieces of jewelry that can scratch it.
Our rings are available in whole sizes from 5-9. No half sizes.
We do not recommend resizing for rings, since our jewelry is rhodium plated. Warranty is voided if ring is resized.
Your ELLE Jewelry is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers missing stones or stones that have fallen out. Normal wear and tear on the jewelry will not be covered by the warranty. If the merchandise is no longer in stock, an item of equal value or similar appearance will be replaced.
Please return your jewelry to the retailer where purchased or nearby retailer. You may find these on the "Where to Buy" section of the web site. They will be able to help you process a return to either repair or replace the item.
